VERY IMPORTANT: All quizzes, exams, and graded assignments, including group and individual projects, will be completed in all sections of the course on the dates established in this calendar. Your teacher will provide you with a more detailed calendar, including also classroom activities and homework.

VERY IMPORTANT: Alternative due dates for quizzes, exams, and other graded activities can be arranged in case of illness or another valid reason, such as a personal hardship, or if you are a student athlete, in the national guard, or are missing class because of a UW mandatory academic activity. All extensions must be approved in writing (via email). If an extension is granted, make-up quizzes and exams must be completed within two weeks of the original date, and all other graded activities must be submitted within two weeks of the original due date. No further extensions will be granted.

In case of illness or other valid reason, you need to contact your instructor as soon as possible to discuss possible alternative due dates. If you are sick, let your teacher know you will be missing class via email. You should NOT provide medical documentation as proof of short-term illness to justify an absence.

If you are a student athlete, in the national guard, or are missing class because of a UW mandatory academic activity, you need to provide your instructor with proper documentation indicating the dates you will be missing class. Alternative arrangements for quizzes, exams, and assignments need to be made BEFORE the due date.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you are a DRS student or need religious accommodations, please visit the main page of the course syllabus for more detailed information on UW policies and resources.
