Spanish 103 - Exams

There are 5 in-class written exams, one at the end of each chapter in the book. The exams will reflect the activities done in and out of class. They will focus primarily on the content of the chapter, but, since language learning is cumulative, they may also include material from previous chapters. You are responsible for all previously learned material.

Each exam will count as 8% of your final grade. There will be no final exam.

VERY IMPORTANT: All exams must be taken at their scheduled times—see exam dates on the course calendar. Make-ups will be given only in case of properly documented, excused absences and must be arranged with the instructor before the date of the exam.

VERY IMPORTANT: Work and family vacations are not an excuse for missing an exam. Make sure to check the course calendar before making any travel arrangements.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you are a student athlete, you need to provide your instructor with proper documentation indicating the dates you will be missing class.

VERY IMPORTANT: Exams will not be returned to students. You will have an opportunity to review your exam in class before returning it to your teacher who will file it for the rest of the quarter. If you have questions about your grade you need to consult with your teacher outside of class, during office hours.
