Spanish 110 - Exams

There are 4 in-class written exams.

Exam 1 will cover chapters 1, 2, and 3 and will count as 12% of the final course grade.

Exam 2 will cover chapters 4 and 5 and will count for 8% of the final grade.

Exam 3 will cover chapters 6 and 7 and will also count for 8% of the final grade.

Exam 4 will cover chapters 8, 9, and 10 and will count for 12% of the final course grade.

These exams will reflect the activities done in and out of class. They will focus primarily on the content of the previous 2/3 chapters, but, since language learning is cumulative, they may also include material from all previous chapters. The student is responsible for all previously learned material.

VERY IMPORTANT: All exams must be taken at their scheduled times—see course calendar. Make-ups will be given only in case of properly documented, excused absences and must be arranged with the teacher before the date of the exam. For what constitutes an excused absence, see the course calendar page.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you are a DRS student or need religious accommodations, please visit the main page of the course syllabus for more detailed information on UW policies and resources.

VERY IMPORTANT: Exams will not be returned to students. You will have an opportunity to review your exam in class before returning it to your teacher who will file it for the rest of the quarter. If you have questions about your grade you need to consult with your teacher outside of class, during office hours.
