Congratulations to Prof. Leigh Mercer (Associate Chair, Spanish & Portuguese Studies)! Mercer has been awarded the Scholars Fellowship Grant for her new book project An Incoherent Voyage: Spanish Cinema Pioneers, Between Technophilia and Technophobia from the Simpson Center for the Humanities. Society of Scholars is an intellecutal community in which humanists of diverse generations, academic ranks, and departmental affiliations contribute to and learn from one another's work.
