Husky Giving Day is April 4th

Submitted by Casey Colvin on

April 4th is Husky Giving Day, the University of Washington’s annual event celebrating the power of philanthropy and community engagement through collective action.  We do this for Washington, and for the world.

This year’s campaign focuses on championing the study of Language and Literature.  By participating in Husky Giving Day and donating to the Friends of Spanish and Portuguese Studies, you give a gift that will aid in sustaining scholarships, faculty, graduate, and undergraduate research, and the staging of the department’s many cultural and literary events.

Your gift to the Friends of Spanish and Portuguese Studies demonstrates your interest and involvement in the mission of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies to promote the languages, literatures and cultures of Spain, Portugal, Latin America, the Lusophone world, and US Latinos.

You may give to the department through our website.  Alternatively, you may mail checks to:

UW Gift Services
4333 Brooklyn Ave. N.E.
Box 359505
Seattle, WA 98195-9505

Please make checks payable to the University of Washington and write “Friends of Spanish and Portuguese Studies Fund” in the memo field.
