Spanish 302: Advanced Spanish Writing

Course description:

 

Spanish 302 is an advanced-level writing course that is designed to develop reading, writing, editing, and discussion skills. Topics: narration, description, expository writing, arguments. Methodology: literacy-based and design-based collaborative tasks. You will be expected to challenge your abilities in argumentation, interpretation, and critical thinking, and be a responsible member of an intellectual community.  This is a 5-credit course that meets for 4 hours per week.  On Fridays, class does not meet but there are design-based homework activities, estimated to take up to 1 hour.

Muñoz-Basols, Javier, et al., Developing Writing Skills in Spanish.  New York: Routledge, 2012

Available for purchase online or through UW Bookstore.  You can use the physical book or the e-book.  

Catalog Description: 
Develops writing techniques and strategies for the production of Spanish texts of an academic and professional nature. Prerequisite: SPAN 301 or SPAN 310, either of which may be taken concurrently.
