The Division of French & Italian Studies presents award-winning Senegalese hip-hop group KEUR-GUI CREW, consisting of Kilifeu (a.k.a. Kalachnikov), Thiat (a.k.a. Mass 36), and DJ Gath, will discuss the role of hip-hop in instigating political and social change, particularly in youth movements in West Africa. The discussion will be followed by a live performance.
