The Luis Fernando Esteban Public Service Award is presented annually in order to recognize the leadership achievements of its recipient in support of the Hispanic community within the region. This year's award was presented to Al Maimon at the Spanish & Portuguese Studies graduation celebration at UW's Botannical Gardens and Center for Urban Horticulture on June 14, 2013.
