Undergraduate Advising

Students seeking advising on issues regarding Undergraduate study, such as Registration in an Undergraduate course, Placement Tests, Declaring a Major or Minor, Reviewing DARS and Spanish Major Degree Requirements, Department Honors, and other issues, please contact Humanities Academic Services (HAS).

Study Abroad Advising

Students who have questions regarding specific study abroad programs should contact the director or other representative of the program of interest, as posted on the program webpage.

Students seeking a credit evaluation for a study abroad program should contact Senior Academic Counselor and Graduate Program Advisor Dalia Correa at spsadv@uw.edu.


STUDY ABROAD POLICY

Students can take a maximum of 15 credits towards the major in Spanish, a maximum of 12 credits towards the minor in Spanish, and 10 credits in Spanish for General Studies credit, through study abroad program.

Graduate Studies Advising

Advising hours for Graduate Students and prospective Graduate Students are from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday at Padelford (PDL) C-104F.  Individuals without an appointment may drop in and be seen on a first-come-first-served basis (note: times are subject to change without notice due to other responsibilities or availability).  To schedule an appointment, or for questions that can be addressed briefly, email Senior Academic Counselor and Graduate Program Advisor Dalia Correa at spsadv@uw.edu.
